This circa 1850 building was actually originally built a few blocks away from where it sits now on Whitney Ave. The roof and especially the built-in copper-lined gutters were in very bad shape. The roof had 4 layers built up over the years, including an original flat-locked "tin" roof. We removed everything down to the lathe, installed new plywood decking and then created our roof system. The gutter troughs needed extensive carpentry work to bring them back to functional. We then lined them both in new copper pans and replaced the downspouts.
